General Conference

What a blessing to be able to watch General Conference from your couch [in your jammies!] We enjoyed a lovely conference weekend with a yummy breakfast, snuggle time and coloring.

Owl Moon

Bria's artwork entitled, Owl Moon, was selected to be showcase at the school district art show. She was very happy. Mommy and the girls went to the art show and then to Dairy Queen for dessert. All of the Parma kids are very artistic and creative. Lately they've enjoyed doing air-dry clay and painting.

Liam's first big boy haircut

In a weak-hearted moment of long-hair desperation, I gave in and took Liam for a haircut at Great Clips. The haircut was absolutely horrific. But Liam held still and was so excited for his "big boy haircut." Afterward he said, "Daddy is going to be so pwoud of me."

The Perot Museum

As a lovely Christmas gift we received a membership to the Dallas Perot Museum of Nature and Science. Along with dinosaurs and other neat exhibits, they have a full children's museum. The kids love to play grocery store, camping, water table, sand-digging and crafting!
Liam discovers the joy of hole punching.

lil' gymnasts

The kids love dressing up in hand-me-down gymnastics leotards. Even Liam. Their preferred gymnast event is jumping off the couches onto a mountain o' pillows.

Em's 31st birthday

Breakfast in bed, dinner out with daddy, loving cards and gifts, and lunch with girlfriends...what more could a birthday girl wish for?? (oh, and gluten-free chocolate cupcakes with whipped cream filling and Nutella buttercream.)

valentine's day party

Bria's 1st grade Valentine's party. (I was the room mother this year.) We played a few silly V-day games, then crafted while listening to Frozen music. And enjoyed delicious treats! What a day full of love.
