merry Christmas!

Well... I didn't do a very good job taking pictures this season. I guess I was too busy helping, cleaning, cooking, prepping, damage-controlling and refereeing to photograph. Notwithstanding we enjoyed a lovely Christmastime together.

Some highlights include: 

• Cali and Bria's class parties (singing, snacking, gifting)
• decorating graham cracker houses with friends
• seeing Santa at JCPenney
• making Christmas chocolates (white chocolate Oreos and chocolate pretzels)
• trimming the Christmas tree 
• rockin' out to festive music
• visiting the lights and trains at the Gaylord resort
• decorating sugar cookies
• delivering gifts to friends and neighbors
• spending Christmas Eve with friends
• opening presents! Liam - Thomas the Train set, Cali and Bria - dress-up clothes, Twinkle Toe shoes, Disneyworld tickets, dolls and toys
• SNOW on Christmas day!

a visit from Grandma

We enjoyed a lovely visit from Grandma! While Emily and David attended a diabetes conference in Austin, Grandma stayed and played with the kiddos! And they played hard. Eating yummy food, sleeping over at Aunt Amy's, visiting the Animal Safari Park and feeding animals, and lots of snuggling time (especially in the very early morning). What a fun time we had!
